  • I came to Peta after a very disempowering and confusing period where I received a lot of conflicting advice from the hospital, doctors and early childhood nurses about how to rectify our second bub’s slow weight gain. Peta was just wonderful, Now at almost 8 weeks we are hopefully on the other side of a pumping/top up marathon and fully breastfeeding.

    Emma

  • After attending her breastfeeding class where she flagged possible IGT and supply issues, Peta became a source of knowledge that left us feeling informed and empowered. 4 months on and we are still breastfeeding, something we did not think was possible and if it hadnt been for Peta we wouldnt be here.

    Ella

  • I went to her in desperation, feeling lost and defeated after 5 weeks of hard breastfeeding. As soon as she came to see me she saw the problem (tongue tie) and came up with a solution (surgery by an specialist since my baby had a very bad tie) and a plan to help me maintain my supply and keep feeding my baby while we waited for surgery.

    Sara

  • Within two weeks, my baby went from struggling to gain weight to surpassing all weight expectations.

    Belen

  • After our baby arrived, I received so much praise at the hospital for being a “natural” at breastfeeding.

    Elodie

  • Peta saved my breastfeeding journey! I was in so much pain everytime I feed my baby due to her not latching properly during the first 2 weeks. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days and saw multiple midwives who could not show me how to latch my baby correctly. I scheduled an appointment with Peta and after a Zoom call that day, I could not believe no one showed me the correct technique to latch baby correctly in the last 2 weeks and Peta fixed it in a few minutes overa Zoom call. I asked Peta if it's normal not to feel any pain as I could not believe it.

    Mia

  • Cannot recommend more - Peta completely resolved issues with both latching (after a single session) and supply (after one week). She is the reason I was able to continue on my breastfeeding journey.

    Jessica

  • I cannot recommend Peta highly enough. I booked Peta at 10am and she was at my front door 4 hours later. I had been struggling to breastfeed for 6 weeks, was triple feeding my bub and was a complete wreck. I was already seeing a LC who just told me to keep going and never looked at the whole picture. My mental health was in tatters. I booked Peta with a glimmer of hope that she might have a magic tip to help me continue my BF journey, but realistically I booked her because I needed someone to tell me to stop. Peta and I spoke in depth about my history, but mostly we just sat together as I cried.

  • Peta is an incredibly empathetic and effective Lactation Consultant - her approach is not the “one size fits all” attitude of many professionals in the space, which is super refreshing. She’s so passionate about helping women work out and do what’s healthiest and best for them, at a time when everyone is telling you what they think you should do!
