Hey! I’m Peta, a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and it is my absolute pleasure to support families during those early days and months of life with a newborn!

I am passionate about teaching antenatal breastfeeding classes as I believe that is the first thing to make a real difference to a persons breastfeeding journey.

Postnatally, I love helping families make sense of what is happening, put it all into context for you, give you real practical information and help while supporting your individual feeding goals, whatever they may be and caring for your mental health in the process! I am passionate about education, support and building communities. I can be found around the area surviving on coffee with my husband Shane, 2 beautiful kiddos and 2 nutty dogs!

Services:

Antenatal Breastfeeding Classes - Group in person, private in home or online pre-recorded. Additionally a 15min Express Latch and Positioning Video to illustrate the techniques is also available if you have had your baby.

Lactation Consultations - Full lactation care including breast and nipple exam and care, infant oral anatomy care, full observation of breastfeeding and plan setting. Consults are held in my clinic in Redhead, 20mins South of Newcastle at the top of Lake Macquarie.

Lots of free blog posts on the website and reels on the instagram page discussing many common breastfeeding topics and concerns.
