Beaches Baby Closure / Move
There is no easy way to say this but unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to close our current beloved Beaches Baby premises effective Monday 22nd February. There have been a lot of reasons why we have come to this hard decision to close, including an unexpected worldwide pandemic!
Whilst it is the end of our operations at Harbord Diggers, it’s not quite the end of Beaches Baby entirely, as we will be continuing a small part of the business online and we will be hosting intimate Prenatal Education Groups and New Mum Groups, including Dad Club from home starting at the end of March.

Life In Lockdown - Are You OK?
What a roller coaster life has been lately! Are you ok? Are you realising how much you love contact with other people or relishing in the down / home time? Maybe it's a combo of both.
It's been really nice spending extra time with my kiddos but I will admit, I personally am not cut out to be a 24/7 stay at home Mum.
How Breastfeeding Mums Are Being Undermined.
A beautiful Mum popped into the shop this week, we got chatting and she also has a 4 month old baby who had just had his vaccinations. I asked her how things we going and she revealed she was upset because she had just spoken to the GP about how she was feeling like maybe she didn’t have as much milk as once before and the baby was waking up a little more than usual.
2019 Wrap Up
Dear Beaches Baby Family
Wow! What a Year 2019 has been!
Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for embracing our little business with open arms. Thank you to the amazing families who are believing in our business, coming to classes, workshops and support groups. Thank you for stopping in for a chat, sharing your stories of joy and heartbreak with us, talking to us about your birth, your traumas and recovery and showing us your resilience. Thank you for sharing your stories of loneliness and anxiety and I hope that in some way we have been able to help you find people, resources or just be an ear when you needed it. Being a Mum or Dad is a journey, that’s for sure and we love being there with you.

R U OK? Why we won't stop helping you find your village.
So this week was R U OK day. An important day of checking in with people around us who might be at risk.
I’m a little later talking about this than I would like as I did have a day this week where I wasn’t ok myself.
