Doula Style
Every woman is unique. And every doula has their own unique style. Making the right match with a doula is an important step in your birthing experience.
I believe in the raw power of birth. Watching a birthing women step into her power, her raw strength and her vulnerability is a privileged position to be in.
I like to think I am a bit of a cheerleader. I bring enthusiasm and encouragement to you and your partner to actively help you in your birth.
Watching and helping partners care for, hold up, and strengthen their partner is my goal. There is nothing as powerful as birth.
An advocate for you to achieve your birthing goals, whatever you decide is my main role. As is to hold space for you, care for you, support you and cheer for you.
We run a suite of birthing programs, designed to help you make connections and plan for your birth and as a doula, I can be engaged to attend your birth with you and provide pre and post natal individual sessions as well.
Personally I have birthed 2 beautiful children, my daughter in a hospital which was managed and full of interventions. My son was born in a beautiful home birth, a completely transformative birthing experience.
